Wolf Watching, Wildlife and Nature Photography... Even in the Back Yard

Yellowstone's Northeast corner is a hotbed for wildlife, especially the Lamar Valley, which is famous for its wolves. Winter wolf-watching in the Lamar is becoming more and more popular, and our cabin is one of the closest places you can stay in winter. Even without entering the park you're likely to see wildlife right near the cabin. Be sure to say hi to our neighbors: elk, deer, bison, fox, black and grizzly bear, pine marten and even the occasional wolf.

Outdoor Activities and Winter Sports

The cabin is not only close to Yellowstone, but is surrounded by the rugged Beartooth Mountains, which offer plenty of hiking, fishing, cross country skiing and snowmobiling.
